Training Exposure
Kumar’s sailing training is conducted through his sailing school, 24Seven Sailing. He has participated in structured sailing training camps, including those led by international coaches. These camps form part of his broader preparation within competitive sailing environments.
Maritime Exposure
As part of maritime exposure beyond competitive sailing, Kumar participated in welcoming the Italian Navy’s training ship Amerigo Vespucci during its visit to Mumbai Harbour in 2024. He later visited the ship and interacted with the commanding officer, asking questions about traditional sailing materials, ship construction, and cadet training on large sailing vessels.
